Gateway

Lord God/Lady Goddess:
As I pause before this gateway in my life,
let me reflect on the path I took here.
Let me seek forgiveness from those I've trespassed against.
Let me recompense those I've harmed.
Let me resolve all past issues
before walking through the gateway to face new ones.
Help me learn from the experiences of my past
so I make use of that knowledge in my present and
can take that knowledge into the future.
Grant me the courage to face the unknown without fear,
secure in the knowledge that you're always at my side, walking with me,
supporting me and helping me overcome any obstacle in my path.
Should I find the gate locked, remind me as long as I walk in Love,
you will open every door for me at the proper time.
Grant me patience to wait without complaining
and wisdom to know when it is time to move on.
